Black hole

Again I’m falling deeper into the black hole I’ve gotten myself into
Once again I’m suffocating in the vile stench of my fear
As I’m falling I think ‘why did I deserve this’
Thinking ‘what did I do?’
I call out a plea for help, my scorched lungs stinging
The flames get higher; my voice is lost in the muck
I cry out in pain, but no one is there to comfort
I’m drowning in my own tears
Cast away dreams to uncharted places
Burned to a filthy vile mush
I’m falling, suffocating, drowning, and dying.
